Hello everyone, I would like to discuss some ideas my brother and I had that we think would make Skyrim more fun for you to play and put more creativity in your hands. The thing I find fascinating in skyrim is smithing but this question came to my brother and my mind. What if you like a certain style armour/weapon but you would rather have different materials to make them with, for example lets say you really like the way Iron armour looks but you want to use different materials for it like dawrven ignots to make in this case golden armour in the Iron armour style and you could do this with any smithing style. Weather it's orcish or ebony or eleven class, whatever you want your creation is your own. The idea with this DLC if it ever becomes a DLC would give you eminence creativity and endless creation to make your character as amazing as you want. So why stop there why not add to this idea with heavy and light versions of armours for example there is eleven armour which is light but what about heavy eleven armour? In oblivion there is the Bosmer( or know as wood elf) in Leyawiin that likes heavy armour so why wouldnt a eleven culture not have both heavy and light armour makes sense to me. So what I also purpose is heavey and light armours for all the smithing classes. Another example is you see orcs in skyrim but alot of them wear light armour if you really look at them, and they usually wear hide armour, why not give them their own light armour I mean orcs are know for their smithing so why not a light orcish armour style?

Why even stop there this next idea I'm particular proud of and the thing is its so simple I dont know why I didnt think of it before. Tailoring, thats right I said it tailoring for mages, with........wait for it.......hoods which they dont have many in skyrim. It can easily be put in smithing as a side branch and have some branches branching form that like I thought of if you take tailoring that a perk could be enchantments on clothing are 10% stronger since your not wearing armour and possibly other perks. With tailoring you can have mage robe styles, assassin styles with cowls and masks just so many possibilities. Once again why stop there, I recently made a character that is an unarmed character because of the new unarmed kill cams which is somthing else to address, why is there only unarmed kill cams for humanoid characters, why no kill cams for creatures and falmer? Just throwing it out there that it would be nice if they could change that. Anyways what I was really getting at is why not fisted weapons like they have in fallout, I think that would be really neat if they did that and would love to see what styles they come up with. Another thing that kind of frustrating is styles of armour you see from factions like thieves that you cant make and then enchant your self, there are several examples of this thieves guild of course, dawn guard(also would love dawn guard sword great sword mace and great hammers), blades, silver smithing which I would love to do, and even armours from oblivion that I would like to see again like chainmail, and mithreil and all these just like the first thing I discussed you could use differnt materials on a certain style to get somthing unique like golden blades armour and sword using dawarven ignots. Oh also with glass armour different colors would be neat because for example chillrend which is a glass sword is blue instead of green, I think it would be unique if there where different colors of glass mainly three, green(original), blue, and red to make glass armour more unique and stylish.

Lastly and this is more a personal opinion but I dont like how orcish weapons and armour are a different shade of green as well as dragon armour and weapons are also a different shade of color and would like it if they fix that in a patch please. Well I hope everyone who reads this thinks that these are potential good ideas and hope that you help me by supporting me and telling Bethesda that they should do this idea as a DLC before they put out a major DLC, because I think it would make Skyrim more enjoyable to play and put more creativity in your hands and they wont do it if they dont hear our voices so please support me and thanks for reading. This is also on my post but wanted more people to read and discuss it.

Chrysamere and Lord's Mail. (Need some Divine Artifacts!)

Liches. (Dragon Priests are alright but Liches are cooler and more powerful. Maybe a quest with Jagnar Tharn returning as a Lich? Maybe possibility for players to become one?)

Daedric Claws (Kinda like RuneScape's Dragon Claws? I may hate that game but I can never hate the Dragon Claws special attack... http://images.wikia.com/runescape/images/archive/6/64/20100103043003!Dragon_Claw_Special.gif)

Solstheim (Should be part of the Skyrim game and wouldn't be hard to add. Plus it is different now with Dunmer, and all.. And would give Bethesda a reason to add wearbears and Hircine's Hunting Grounds?)

Daedra. A LOT of Daedra... Clannfear, Scamps, Ogrims, Golden Saints, Hungers, etc.. Any of them really... Oh and give Dremoras actually Dremora weaponry which looks like Daedric but weaker... Dremoras with iron - ebony crap is really annoying.

Daedric Crossbow. (Can be added with Daedra Idea above since Dremoras are most likely to use these?)

I know this may sound really ambitious but, I think Beth should make a expansion designed to improve the game in any way they wish they could. Like adding anything they would have wanted to build up or add but could not do due to resources at the time or the release date. Here are some ideas.

1: Bulk up the storylines and quests for all Guilds.
2: Add little features they didn't have time to add before, like fishing, improvements on cooking as an actual skill, skinning animal animation, (think Red Dead Redemption) things of that nature.
3: More clothing and hairstyles.
4: An actual Bards College where we can sing and play songs. Mods can do this why cant Beth?
5: The option to rebuild Winterhold, Helgen, or any of the destroyed forts you see all over the place and become the ruler of it if you want to be.
6: More meat to the Main Quest and more Dragonborn abilities for those who pursue the Main Quest.
7: 9 Divines quests as a counterpart to the Daedric Quests.
8: Add seasons to the game.
9: Add an optional hardcoe mode.
10: Add more spells to all schools of magic and make it so spells scale with you.
11: Add spell combos to the game.
12: Add sailing to the game as supposedly Nords are the greatest sailors in the world and we dont get a good representation of that in Skyrim.
13: Add Naval Battles aswell.
14: Make it so marriage doesn't turn the people you married into annoying little pod people.
15: Add the option to have your own child if in a straight relationship.
16: Expand upon the housebuilding DLC Hearthfire.
17: Add the Forsworn as a full on Faction.
18: The option to rebuild the Blades and have a personal army at Skyhaven Temple.
19: The ability to train pilgrims who come to the greybeards in the way of the voice.
20: Alot of people prob won't like this so consider this optional/my opinion. Add primitive firearms such as flintlock pistols and rifles.
21: Add a storyline to Blackreach.
22: Make the Vigilants of Stendarr a full on faction.
23: The ability to ride Ohdavhiing (did I spell that right?) as a mount and/or use him as a means of lore friendly fast travel.
24: Add animations for opening doors and pulling levers and things of that nature.
25: Expand upon the civil war questline and make it seem like an actual WAR instead of little skirmish.

I could list more but Im afraid people who TL;DR it. Let me know what you guys think!

18: What if you kinda killed Esbern and Delphine?

20: No. Just no. I'm sorry but that is the #1 reason why I quit on Fable. If they even think about doing it to the TES series then I'll quit on it as well, and I do not wish for that... I'm sorry but please get mods if you want those unless you ain't on Computer then just don't request them... It just would be a dumb mistake if Bethesda does that...

Now, I would support a Hand Cannon since we saw cannons before in TES series and Hand Cannons were made in Nordic/Medieval times so I wont be surprise finding one in Tamriel somewhere.

18: Then I would guess you dont get that option =/

20: Fable did it wrong. They weren't real flintlock pistols. They reloaded to fast and some even had multiple bullets. What Im talking about is this not some fantasy magic gun. A true flintlock pistol.

18: Hmk.

20: Still no. Guns don't need to be in games like Skyrim... The only time I would love to see guns and magic mix is when someone finally makes a game of "Technology VS Magic"... You know, that would be an epic idea for a game. But anyways... Guns in Tamriel doesn't suit me at all.. I mean, I never read anything where they had guns in Nordic Times or Medieval Times... Sorry. I'm not being mean or anything but I just don't think adding guns will help... The only way I'll support it is if Bethesda creates a DLC with ONLY guns and is NOT official. (In other words, it will NOT count as lore and shouldn't be bothered to be added to the lore).

~Edit~

Basicly, it should be a mod made by Bethesda instead of fans.

This. And throwing knives. I'm not talking about those butter knives Slyrim has now. Small, pointy knives.

But this isn't Nordic or Medieval times. Its Nirn. In the 4th Era. Of the Elder Scrolls universe. Besides they mentioned having cannons in Daggerfall, your telling me after nearly 300 years they cant develop a simple flintlock pistol?

Technology in TES works different with all the magic around.
They are using swords and bows, but they are also using freaking transdimensional teleportation, reality manipulation through magical means etc.
I think in TES magic will advance, not technology. There won't be an industrial revolution.
Look at the Dwemer. They were a steampunk civilisation and they created a GOD... they could not build a F22 or an aircraft carrier or a nuke, but a 1000 foot tall, cross-temporal operating Brass-Mecha.

I think no one can say how guns would develop and work in TES. Just read some of MKs stuff from the 5th and 9th era... the Hist have artillery that fires 16th dimensional mathematics... 16th. Dimensional. Mathematics.

I would totally buy a TES game with a gun that fires 16th dimensional mathematics.
