I love hunting in this game!! How do you hunt in Skyrim? Where are your favourite locations for it and whats your favourite prey?

Its so much fun to charge after terrified rabbits, deer, reindeer-moose things, foxes and blast them into oblivion with massive fireballs.
I once blasted this pair of moose and saw one fly head-over-heels over 50 feet into the air! Took me 30-45 seconds of sprinting to catch up to the corpse!! :D

I once (yesterday) had 0% hud, and could barely see the rabbit I was hunting, and it entered kill cam and I got it

I rumbled a saber cat north of Winterhold. Leveled Restoration, Block, and Light Armor, got from L43 to L45 in about 10 minutes.

I have two favorite places: the swamps near Morthal (beautiful scenery and dangerous chaurus) and the fall forest near Riften. Hunting with a bow and poisoned arrows. Favorite game is chaurus, second spiders.

The two mammoths I killed at level 10 or something was quite an tale.
I had cleared out the bandit camp with the lunar forge in an quest from the jarl, saw some mammoths and has always wanted to hunt them and needed the tusk for an quest.
So I went into sneak did an perfect long range sneak attack, it barley dented its health and now I had two angry incoming mammoths.
Shot once more and run back to the small huts outside the camp, my plan worked the mammoths could not reach me, I shot and shot, leveled up because of all the shooting and managed to get down one of them.
Had to dart out and loot it for arrows but still got empty before the last one died so I had to finish it off with an combination of arrows and the flame spell.

Wow. You guys hunt some dangerous prey. I prefer my victims to be defenceless. Optimally they'll also be small, furry and cute.

Reanimating the remains of bunnys ive lightening bolted to death and filleted never gets old for me.

I had no idea how dangerous mammoths was, yes I knew they was tougher than bears so I had planned to redraw to the hut, however I had no idea they had so much health.
Currently I'm mostly into fishing in the rapids for salmon roe, found that the flame spell is very effective here.

I have an mod who makes moveable furniture so I has to see if I can rig some sort of fish trap with them.

Bow & arrow hunter here, I like roleplaying this character. I don't use alchemy, poison or skill enchants, my armor is regular leather. I solely rely on maxed archery, sneaking behind targets and one-shotting them. Love the sound of a critical and the following soul capture. When there's a tricky bear or sabre cat and the crit doesn't kick I run and try to reach unaccessible places to escape. The most heroic battle was with a spider, I was fatigued after a long troll hit&run and this damn ninja spider jumped out of nowhere and I was out of health potions or food, nothing. When the bloody thing fell my health bar was insanely small, like half a millimeter from death.
