Seriously though, Riften has had awful luck with its Jarls historically (Hosgunn Crossed-Daggers, Laila Law-Giver and now Maven), and this is the one instance I actually wish the Dragonborn could be Jarl.

I totally agree with you! Maven is a plague on Riften.
