After doing the first part and getting the Blade and claw and the writ it is supossed to send me to the location of the bow. In the Quests log it says something about talking to Raynald Valens ane shows me to go to the general goods store in Whiterun. What the heck is going on?
Can I just go to the next location the guide says to goto? Is there an option to go to the general goods store? I find no referrence to this in the guide.

If some one can make some sense out of this please help an old guy out. Someone must know. I have faioth in the forum even though my last post was not answered and I spent several hours solving a rather easy problem. THis is no little problem. There is a marker on the floor of the general goods store but I cant find any way to get to it.

What quest are you on? Your original post doesnt give much to go on.

Huh. The only quest with writs, claw, blade and bow I know is Forbidden Legend. Is this what you're asking about?

Raynald Valen I assume is Daynas Valen. You should have already found his body in Folgunthur - it's where you found the Ivory Claw.

Well it seems you have found one of the wonderful bugs in the game. The first step I would do would be to load a save from before the problem. Most of the time that will fix the issue. If that does not and you're playing on the PC you can enter a console command that would advance you past that part of the quest. I don't know the command but you can google it.
