** SORRY I USED THE WRONG DISCUSSION FORUM ** HOPE A MODERATOR WILL MOVE THIS **

This post should only contain spoilers around the first assassination mission only and the assassination alone.

I'll start then:
  • ?I went to the library, read about how they punish the wicked within their secret cult, right
  • Found the torture room, and the mark I would use.
  • Got to the meeting room, spilt both of the glasses and threw the bottle on the ground.
  • Hidden under the table, watching their legs go around - my target gets upset over the spilt glasses.
  • Following my target he goes down in the basemant with his "friend" pass a hidden wall, in this secret room.
  • I then follow behind them and as they turn against the painting, I blink over the glass 'box' that contains some treasures.
  • *behind them* as I watch them, my target takes up his sword ready to stab it in the back of the one I am suppose to save, if I want.
  • I go down slowly, grabs him -just exactly- right before he gets the blade thru my "friend" back and chokes him while I throw up my crossbow with my sleeping dart and shots one right in the back of my "friend" before he sees me.
  • I takes his buddy up to the torture room, puts him in the chair, gives him the mark and the rest is history
Now it's your turn, try describe how your first assassination was, for you. What kind of abilities did you get to use, how did you do it? I'm sure some of these things may feel like the same, but it's in the details! Share some details around your first assassination, if you wish.

And you don't have to write as I did.
You can make it as fun and cool as you want to make it, just as you tell how it went down for real!

I did pretty much the same thing for my first run. So i will just copy yours and make the appropriate edits.
  • Got to the meeting room, spilt both of the glasses and threw the bottle on the ground.
  • Hidden on the lamps, I watched as the Overseer got angry over the spilt wine.
  • Following the Overseer he goes down in the basemant with the Captain pass a hidden wall, in this secret room.
  • I then follow behind them and as they turn against the painting, I hid behind the painting(?) that was leaning on the wall (Where a book was).
  • I peeked from behind my hiding spot and I watch them, the Overseer takes up his sword ready to stab it in the back of the Captain.
  • I use Time Bend II, kill the Overseer, pick up his body, then Blink towards the area where the beds are thrown about.
  • ?Then I watch as the Captain leaves the room and eventually the Abbey.
  • ?I throw the Overseers body on the floor and made my escape.
In hindsight I could of just swapped the glasses, but I panicked when he tried opening the door.

Down-right anti-climatic will be what mine sounds like compared to that.

-Researched everything to do with the ritual.
-Blinked into the room and quickly pilfered everything I could. Forgot to check the Fifth Scripture Book this time. I took two previous passes at this mission. In one I subdued Curnow with a dart. Campbell freaks out and runs from the room, demanding everything be locked down. High alert.
-Final pass. Blink to the chandelier. I let them talk for a little bit and wait until Curnow is about to drink from his cup. Dart him and then Campbell before he can register surprise.
-I blink down and carry Curnow out the window, depositing him carefully on the ledge between two windows so that he should be out of the eye-line of any guards. Go back inside and grab Campbell up. The guards mention that the meeting is taking too long and they're coming in to check what's going on.
-A few blinks and I'm back to the Interrogation Room. Strap Campbell in and I'm told I don't have the brand. Blink up and look down at the brand on the desk, regarding it for a moment.
-Pop back down and look at Campbell, wondering if I can change my mind. Decide to wait for another time to find out and he is branded.

(Small aside: when we were speculating about the various non-lethal methods, I said I would love to brand the Overseer so that he would be considered an exile. I know that's not stumbling onto the lottery, but I was still pleased with being in sync with this game).

-I go back to deal with Curnow. This actually was more involved than Campbell. I had to do some blinks and get to where you stow your new buddy. Two guards kept patrolling the area, making my job difficult. I finally manage to choke out one and put him on top of some crates (I always do this...I don't trust rats). Wait for the right moment to deal with the other guard in similar fashion. Stow Curnow.

-I make my way back to the Overseer area the hard way because I forgot to explore the Kennels. Whole series of actions there in trying to preserve ghost and no-kill. Those dogs are a ***** to deal with in terms of preserving my status. Use my noggin to open the stash door and a slew of rats come out. Blink to a pipe and ponder whether it was worth doing this. Since there were sleep darts inside and I'm not spending one red cent, that was helpful.

-Get the hell out of dodge.

The fact that I missed 800 or so coins floors me. I can't wait to do a full loot run. Do the coins that guards have on their person sometimes count toward the mission total? The next mission has been interesting given what I did at the Overseer, but that's another story. I wish I could play right now :(
