So the most powerful power I believe it is dark vision. Yet, it uses up practically no manna and lasts a long time. Do you guys use it a lot? I find it to be overwhelming. So, I decided to stop using it except as a last resort. I have found the game to be much more enjoyable this way. I feel that balance wise, it should use up three fourths of your manna and be something that you have to think hard whether or not to use. As it is, you could pretty much go through the entire game with dark vision on. I hope no one does this because it destroys the beautiful artwork and also the tension of the game.

Another thought for those complaining that there is no new game plus. Try playing the game without dark vision, or any of the other powers for that matter except for blink of course. Totally different experience.

I like to sweep an area with it before leaving, to make sure I didn't forget anything... but aside from that, I almost never use it.

It IS powerful. Plus I like the whisper when you activate it.... can't quite make out what it says though? Anyone catch it?

My first playthrough I abused the hell out of it. I have a hard time NOT using an ability or even exploit if its given to me so easily. I do feel that it trivialized the game though, made things ridiculously easy. I also found it kind of difficult to see with it on, and yes it ruined the artwork completely. I just started my 2nd playthrough and I don't think I'll get it. The only way I could argue for it is if you're trying to get all the loot - it can be very difficult without it



To me it always sounded like "They hide the dice". Now thats all I can hear when I activate it

I didn't get it in my 1st playthrough but decided to unlock it straight away on my 2nd playthrough. Up to the 4th mission and still haven't used it.

I barely use it, so it's not really "abused" for me.

It says "Enhanced eyes".

I found it very useful on my first playthrough, especially at level 2 when it shows you the power cables running to equipment panels/power sources etc.

However on my second playthrough I found that I was having more fun by not choosing it as a power. I felt less powerful and more vulnerable... which was a good thing.

I think that power should have been made so it uses mana as long as it's active

its like drugs for me, i didnt use it for the longest time but right after i started i use it half the time im playing (literally)

Never even tried it. I don't like powers that turn my vision to see every little detail.
