I thought that maybe it was because of all the mods I had, so I tried disabling them all, and eventually I even tried deleting all of my skyrim stuff, and reinstalling it into a clean folder, and playing it without any DLC. The problem was still there.
Then I tried lowering graphics settings, but the problem didn't change. I also read that it could be my savefile, so I tried moving them all to a different folder, and playing a new one, but nothing changed.
I doubt it's my computer's specs, since I've been playing Skyrim since it was released, and I didn't have any problem until now. That, and it's only in Skyrim, there's no other game that causes this.
The other problem (which is probably related to this too), is that at the same time this started happening, every time I did a quicksave, the game would freeze for 3 seconds just to do the quicksave, and this became quite problematic.
Here are my specs:
AMD Athlon II X4 (2.6ghz, quadcore)
4GB DDR3 RAM (Actually 3GB because Windows Vista)
Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT (1GB)
I still have to try cleaning my computer from the inside to see if that changes anything, but somehow I doubt it will help at all.
Does anybody have the same problem? Or any solution for this?
Thanks.
