Would Bethesda ever make dlc skills?

Just wondering. I think having a few new skills in an expansion would be cool. I think Skyrim is the only TES game where new skills would work.

It depends what you mean by 'Skills'. If you mean Skill Trees for new abilities then sure. They already kind of have, via Dawguard, for Vampires and Werewolves. So it is possible.

I really hope them to add a new perk tree for spears or at least own line under two-handed. (And for those who haven't heard it yet patch 1.8 added animations for spears.)

Hope so. Survival (Combination of Unarmed/Acrobatics maybe?) would be cool, as well as a Shout tree (Maybe a perk giving each shout a separate cooldown?)

Yes, but those are completely seperate from the perks we already have, not effecting the leveling system. In my opinion they will never do this, because if they did, the level would have to be raised past 81, then they'd have to readjust enemy and npc levels to compensate for this increase.

They might continue to add things that are seperate from the perks we have in vanilla Skyrim, like a shout tree perhaps.

If they put Spears in the next DLC then they will modify the TWO-Handed tree or add a Spear tree.

Only skills that really interest me are Spellmaking, acrobatics, and athletics. To be fair, both acrobatics (higher jumping) and athletics (run faster) can be achieved via perks. that really only leaves spellmaking as the only skill I want back in full.

Unarmed would be nice, but it's not at the top of my list.

It would be great if they added in Athletics (which had acrobatic perks) for the thief skills, unarmed for warriors, and spellcraft for mage skills.

No we won't get any new skills. We might get more perk trees but I doubt we will get any more skills.
