The Music Thread

Couldn't find the old thread, so I started a new one. Here is where we post all the music we really like. I'll go first.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8cADX87-2I. I don't like his album stuff, because it sounds too poppy, but the more I hear him live, the more I appreciate him.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQyUohxmH5k, performed live on The Jonathan Ross Show.

Great voice and rhythm. Bit of a shame he doesn't display all this talent on the album.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xxr_13qNT2M's two guys from Trippy Wicked and the Cosmic Children of the Knight covering Killifornia by Church of Misery. On guitar and ukelele. It's way cool.

And http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGaoXAwl9kw's a classic.

Finally, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGJ7yZRW8bg is a lovely song by one of my favourite recent bands.

Hmmm, I've been listening to quite a lot of music lately. Stuff that helps me to relax in the middle of the night when I can't sleep mainly.

There is a little cross section of the kind of music I have been listening too. All stuff I love. Oh and Oof you should check out Ed Sheerans acoustic performances they are spectacular. I really enjoyed his album +. I'd like to see him do a solely acoustic EP though. Personally I don't listen to much classical music though I enjoy it sometimes, I just don't like the pomp.

Quiz! Name the most influential (and arguably greatest) indie rock band of the 90's? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMjlhIWxfFI

[censored] love it. California slack, noise guitar, complex lyrics (and sometimes nonsensical) and a hip-hop drum rhythm. Everything I love about indie rock.

Also, I've been listening to some http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7b7CF1REFq8 lately.
