My dog is afraid of me coughing

My dog is afraid of me - and only me - coughing. She is an eight year-old Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We have had her for a year and she is always like it. It isn't so bad, but lately I have been really ill and she is just terrified - constantly running upstairs whenever I cough. Any idea how I can get her over this behaviour?

Go see a doctor for your cough.

Contact the Dog Whisperer. He'll tell you what's bothering her.

Maybe you have a loud, throaty cough that sounds like a large dog barking? All I can think of.

Take cough lozenges.
Contact the Dog Whisperer. He'll tell you what's bothering her.
Quoting from him directly, he trains the owners and rehabilitates the dog. Or was that the Cat Whisperer?
