Some build questions from a guy who's never tried to build a

So I've been fishing through character sliders online the other day and I came across this: http://www.truancyfactory.com/mods/skyrim/warDog.html

It was the Goraz character design that interested me most. This mean looking, vicious dunmer warrior. Now, I want to build a character around this. I sort of like the Vampire armor in Dawnguard so I'm thinking of leaning him in that direction. But, a few quick questions about build.

I want him to be sneaky, but only to a certain point. I don't need yet another character who shoots things with bows across the screen. I want a guy who dual wields a pair of swords and sneaks up to his opponents to stab them in the back. Then has to fight off the rest of the opponents who hear this and come funning. I love dual wielding, and I love the image of that nasty looking dunmer (who will probably be a vampire) in a dogfight to get out of the room. It's fun to be stuck in a situation you might not win every now and then.

But, the big thing I'm curious about is alchemy! I've literally never used it before. It seems like it could be a ton of fun, lots of nice methods to do a lot of poisons and stuff that could be interesting for this character design. I also know you can use stuff like fortify smithing. Which might be nice since I absolutely loathe leveling smithing but I want to be able to up the vampire armor to be useful late game. What I wonder is: How hard is alchemy to use? Can you use the poisons and stuff on bound weapons?

Does this make SENSE? Is there any point to playing a dual wielding vampire warrior? Am I playing this backwards? What do you guys think? Also, any advice you guys have would be a ton of fun.

Thanks.

Well first off, any idea for a chracter you'd like to play, is never a wrong idea; expirementation is a good thing :) Now some builds are harder to manage than others.

Alchemy is extremely useful for your character design, as you can execute one foe with a backstab and then use poisons agains the others, while buffing yourself. The main thing you will want to to cause as much damage as possible, as fast as possible, since dual weidling lacks much defense. You can make and use high potentency posions and apply them to your blades after the first kill.

The best advice I could give is let the playthru effect the character as much as the character effects the playthru. Anytime I have tried to plan out a character before I start them I end up dissappointed. It may simply be my playstyle but let the randomness of every playthru influence the character you're playing to guide him/her on their path. If I plan out a toon their deleted by lvl10 at most. Those which choose their own path go much farther. However you may see it differently. The greatest writers will tell you that their characters choices surprise them as much as you the reader.
