Bookworm

So i decided to build the library for lakeview manor and i suddenly have the urge to collect alot of books lol. Pretty much the only books i have read so far are the history of the empire books, volume 1-3 i think, and they were actually quite interesting describing all the emperors and times of despair and great prosperity for the empire. So i was just wondering is there any interesting books to find that are actually interesting to read like the series of books mentioned above? To be honest, a lot of the books in this game are kinda crappy but some recommendations for my library would be greatly appreciated.

Well, if you think a lot of them are crappy then my tastes are obviously substantially different than yours, making any of my recommendations likely pointless. Not harping on you ... just saying.

My word, man, you must read! Anything and everything. The writers for the Elder Scrolls lore have written some great short stories.

Try the "Black Arrow" books 1 and 2, you should also read the "Mystery of Talara" series, and "Incident in Necrom", Vernaccous and Bourlor is also a pretty good book. I find the skill books and their sequels to be some of the most interesting, but if you don't like the books in Skyrim then I can't really help.

Your library will not be complete without a copy of The Lusty Argonian Maid.

Mysterious Akavir and Report: Disaster at Ionith are a must for anyone interested in Akavir (the later is an interesting read, regardless).

  • The Wolf Queen
  • The Real Barenzia
  • The Argonian Account
  • The Black Arrow
  • Incident in Necrom
  • Palla
  • The Third Door
  • Withershins
  • The Woodcutter's Wife
  • The Cabin in the Woods
  • 2920 The Last Year of the First Era (yes, all twelve)
  • Fall of the Snow Prince
  • Immortal Blood
  • Wabbajack
  • A Game at Dinner
  • Report: Disaster at Lonith (sounds boring, very good)
  • The Horror of Castle Xyr
  • Mysterious Akavir
  • On Oblivion
  • The Doors of Oblivion
  • (and of course) The Lusty Argonian Maid Vol. 1 & 2
This is just a summary of some of the good ones, but the real fun is finding little gems here and there.

much obliged.

The cabin in the woods sounds very intriguing indeed. I shall read that first, sounds scary from the title.
The black arrow would be a good read for my bosmer from the sound of the title.

Read "The Woodcutter's Wife" first. You'll thank me later.
