DeadUnconscious enemies respawn?

So, I just bought the game and i've been playing it for two hours or so (AWESOME game btw! :tops:). But, as i'm in Dr. Galvanis laboratory i've killed three guards, the three first ones at the first floor. So as I said I killed them, and put them all together in a pile by the door where you 'start' when you enter the laboratory. Then sweeped the whole first floor, moved to the second floor, again I killed the man and the woman and put them in the bedroom together. As I am new to the game I just like to look around and check for items and whatnot. So I spent some time in the laboratory and while I was sweeping through the third floor where I am supposed to take the rat vasectomy or whatever It is (I don't recall :tongue:). I hear someone talking (This was wierd since as I said I sweeped through the whole laboratory). so I go to the second floor and use dark vision and then I see the three dead guards which I am a 100% sure I killed. Why is this? Is it a bug or are dead enemies supposed to respawn? I could understand it if i'd left the laboratory and then re-entered (even though I think even that would ruin the atmosphere :tongue:), but I did not leave the laboratory.

It's nothing serious but I think it ruins the experience of being a stealthy-[censored]-assassin :tongue:

Guards spawn in specific instances, and this is one of them for me. I think they only spawn if you killed the original ones, as I didn't notice it in my low-chaos playthrough.

Hm :ermm: Anyways, how does it work with Unconscious enemies? Do they respawn/get up at some time or does the instance matter with this as well? (I'm at the bottle streets brewery at the time)

say something like, "Why isn't anyone patrolling here? This is supposed to be a guarded area" or something along
those lines, and leave. And then come back with reinforcements.

Knocked out enemies don't wake up on their own. They CAN be eaten by rats, and if they are found by other guards,
they can be woken up. This happened to me, also.

Bodies disappear sometimes to free up system resources. Someone on these forums posted a RAM tweak for the PC
to prevent them from de-spawning, but usually when I have a pile somewhere, one or two bodies typically disappear over time.

When entering the back part of the brewery...
I had three or so thugs suddenly spawn in the outside area, alerted. I had knocked everyone out before, and these ones appeared from somewhere rather than waking up. I tried several times to discover what was actually happening, but I'm still not really sure what happens or why. I tried hiding the bodies better, but they still ended up alerted. I didn't have any mission or anything to go there, no idea if that makes a difference.
