First of all, is there such a glitch that only deletes some items (not all) in a safe containter? Because im so confused...

I noticed a while ago i had no idea where some of my items were, as i had just finished transferring everything over to the hearthfire house in Falkreath... There are only two places i would put them, the chest in the Sleeping Giant, and a chest in Fort Dawngaurd... i have over 1000 saves so it was easy to find out when i last had them and when they dissapeared, i figured out they were last in the chest in Fort Dawnguard, but i cannot for the life of me figure out what happened to them between those two saves, i cant imagine myself putting them in any containers other than those two (though i have checked in some others)..

I know it happened before Hearthfire, so i didnt lose them when transferring stuff to the new house.. and im on xbox, so i cant console command them back into my inventory... is there a glitch as i mentioned above or am i going to have to scour the whole surface of Skyrim for these, i know i didnt sell them or anything, so im wondering what the hell happened to them...

Help and tips would be awesome..
