So i was thinking hard on a unique character to play through skyrim. I came across a more "Defensive" build which seems fun to go try out. My idea :
Block as a main wealon (Deadly bash dmg ftw!) And have a restoration or alteration spell in the offhand to support you from dieing. While wearing heavy armor you could be indesteuctible with good deadly bash damage. Not to mention killing undead with your resto spells could pay off and healing allies.
What do you guys think ?'

Would take forever to kill someone, not to mention you can Shield Bash a whole two times with no Stam investment.

The lesser of the turtle builds... The other isn't possible when the game came out and we found out we couldn't dual wield shields

Well with a good shield, good block, and good block buffs i could see it do enough to viably kill anything. (Except major hard enemied i guess)

Be sure to eat lots of soup. The stamina regen means you never have to rest when bashing (your stamina never runs out).

Get the Targe of the Blooded. It's amazing. Stackable bleed when you shield bash. Stack it five times and enemies bleed pretty heavily. I'm currently running a build with little weapon skill but really high shield and armor skills.

It also works on undead and constructs, unlike most bleed effects. Get a weapon with absorb stamina and use it to fuel your shield bash power attacks with the targe.
