Who is impressed with the amount of options?

Am I the only one impressed with the amount of options within the game? Like, the abilities and stuff almost encourage you to "cheat" the game's system almost. Here is an example...

Spoiler
Whilst almost every playthrough I have seen of the game resulted in a confrontation with Daud whereby you have a conversation and the choice of sparing him or killing him, mine didn't go like this. I tried to slow down time and choke him out to grab the key, but instead he caught me out and we had a duel in frozen time. It was totally awesome!

Hah, I experienced the same thing.

Yeah, the possibilities in this game are really impressive. And the level design is done in a way to compliment that, which is awesome.

I am seriously impressed. Quite surprised actually. Human Revolution promised true choice within gameplay, but really it was all an illusion. I mean, critical decisions within the game such as killing someone was made for you in a cut-scene and everything ultimately lead to four outcomes with a "pick a button" scenario. This game is what Human Revolution should have been. I was so looking forward to Assassin's Creed 3, but it seems that this is my game of the year if not generation. If a game comes out better than this, then I will be so happy that there is one.

EDIT: Also, the duel in freeze time was just awesomely epic!

That happened to me with Daud, too.
Spoiler
He said "nice try, Corvo" and proceeded to duel in slow motion.
That whole level was awesome.

I wish I hadn't done it because I didn't get offered the option to spare him, but still - pretty awesome duel.

I did- at one point when he was wounded, he blinked away and then I went and found him and let him go.
