i like using the kinect when i play for my shouts but i hate how it wont let me use any of my powers like beast form or Highborn
i hate having to go into the menu and turn off kinect just to be able to use a power i really hope they fix this soon because i hate having to back and forth when they could easily just add a few voice commands or if they could just change the use power button to a tap of the LB(for xbox) would use your powers and give shout it own button

Well.. uhh... I don't know whats exactly soo wrong about the normal way of playing.. But I probably shouldn't judge.. Because people have their different likes and dislikes..

kinect is a childish gimmick - which should be knocked on the head immediately...

well i guess its from a roleplaying stand point i like actually saying the shouts and seeing it happen but im not saying mess it up for everyone if they just added the new voice commands for them then it wouldnt effect anyone who doesnt use kinect

You can still select a power and then use both shoulder buttons to activate it. I believe that's how it works if I'm remembering correctly. I do know it's there because I've done it before. No reason to turn off Kinect. And sorry for those that don't see the need for Kinect but I absolutely love it for Skyrim and can't really stand playing without it any more. I always hated constantly jumping in and out of menus and now I don't have to do that. Works great for me.
