Some advice from a guy who has 640hrs of play.........

I'm on my forth time around now.........

1. First time I played I was disappointed with the fact that you can't perk out everything in the perks menu. 100+ hours

2. So I restarted hoping to get the customizations I wanted. The next time around I played all the way through, I built the strongest character that could be built in terms of Armour and one handed attack. 339 hours

3. I got bored and restarted with the idea of building and even stronger player, and invincible one. Through research I actually discovered how it is done with modes. 202 hours......

4. Now I'm just gonna build the character I want. I realized at some point your character can be unstoppable if you want it to be.........Mine is gonna have pick pocket, lock picking, sneak.................All the things I love doing, but avoided leveling for fear of wasting my perks. It's not a wasted perk if you use it all the time.

My Advice: Just build the character you will have fun playing with. Just because leveling Illusion/conjuration/etc... is the weaker choice, doesn't mean it is the foolish choice. If you have fun with illusion or conjuration or whatever you do, then just choose that. It's 400-500 hour game, and that's without the add-ons that may or may not come out.

Anyone else want to add? Open discussion welcome..........
