Skyrim Icon

Could someone explain to me the Skyrim's icon/logo?
I understand Morrowind's, it's about Azura.
Oblivion's is about Oblivion gates, it's a daedric symbol, same symbol used for conjuration magic.
So what about Skyrm's icon. First of all what does the Dargon at the imperial flag stand for and why do Imperials have an "obssesion" with dragons(Dragon armour in oblivion for example) and what does this dragon have to do with Skyrim's dragons and Alduin?

That's the icon of The Empire. The Empire reveres Akatosh, a dragon god. Bet they used it since it already looks like a dragon, no need to design another icon.

The link between the Dragon and the Empire goes all the way back to http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Alessian_Empire and its first ruler, Alessia:

The Empire was founded when Saint http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Alessia received the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Dragonfires and the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Amulet_of_Kings from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Akatosh; she used the Amulet to drive the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Daedra out of the mortal realm.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Alessian_Empire#cite_note-ToSA-0 Akatosh told Alessia that as long as the Dragonfires remained lit and her heirs wore the Amulet of Kings, the gates of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Oblivion would remain shut.

The Empire and its rulers have a long history with the Dragon god Akatosh, as it was his covenant with them - handed down from Alessia all the way to the end of the Septim Dynasty - that made the Empire (in its various incarnations) possible in the first place.

and what does this dragon have to do with Skyrim's dragons and Alduin?

The dragon became a symbol of the Empire in part for reasons stated above, that doesn't mean that dragons are only relevant to the Empire and its history. Dragons were around before the Empire, they have a long history in Skyrim and have a relationship to Akatosh but all of that has (apparently) nothing to do with Akatosh's covenant with Alessia and her heirs.

Akatosh is Tamriel's Jesus, so to speak, so they based their logo around it: a dragon.

If you look at Morrowind's boxart logo and Skyrim's, you see a few minor differences such as the Skyrim logo "crumbling" and looking less quality than Morrowind. I took it as symbolism as the Empire is crumbling as well.

Like the above poster, it is lore wise the symbol of the Empire, inspired by Akaviri banners (Which in theory may be the reason why it is a dragon, if or if not the reason of Dragonborn/Drgonblood as well.)

That is IIRC.

The Dragon and Diamond represents the Dragonborn Emperor. While the current Medes dynasty are not Dragonborn, the Alessians, Remans and Septims were.
The breaking diamond represents the Empire (and thus the old world order) breaking apart and probably the fact that we are the last Dragonborn.

As for why they care about Dragons... it is due to Alessia, the first Dragonborn Empress who also made Dragon god Akatosh the leading deity of Imperial religion. The Empire of Tamriel serves the Dragonborn and the Dragonborn protect the Empire and with it, Tamriel. And since this is a game about a Dragonborn, it makes sense for a Dragonborn symbol to be there.
