Pen and Paper Journal Thread

I want to see if this thread catches on. Basically tell us what your character has been up to lately, you can write things down as you play, or write them down later, or just remember what your character is up to. I figure a format like this will help, I'll give you an example of my character:

Begin each post with this short description so it's easy to keep track:
Name: Alteon, Race: Altmer, six: Male, Class: Mage, Level: 55

(Optional: if you want to provide a back story to introduce your character in the first post)

28th of Morning Star:

Silverdrift Lair, Draugr Deathlord destroyed two of my summoned wrathmen, scary creature, took me out of the fight a few times, luckily Kharjo was stil able to stand his ground. I took time with each shot with my enchanted Daedric bow, his shouts kept tossing me, immobilizing my chances. Time to move on, some deadly traps were ahead with an enchanted steel helmet guarded by a spike trap, scipped the helmet and carefully avoided the gate gate traps, not worth getting killed over it. Another trap, luckily ovoided a ram storming down a hallway. This dungeon wanted me dead, very dead. Not sure what to fear more the ridiculous amount of traps or the draugr ahead.

Draugrs down, another draugr deathlord at the end of a chamber, she hasn't spotted me yet, should I take a fortify marksmen potion or summon a dremora lord? Took two rations of potions by mistake, my chose was chosen for me. Draugr death Overlord and Draugr deathlord were ahead, I made note of the traps, ground fire trap seemd like the only trap ahead. Played it safe, will summon a dremora lord at the overlord and use a fortify marksmen potion on the deathlord....got detected, I might have resorted to my firestorm spell. Damn overlord has a frost shout, the overlord wasn't the problem though, it was the deathlord with the bow.

Mortally wounded for sure and couldn't stop bleeding, my restoration powers were not powerful enough, need to find a priest or shrine and get some rest. Nightgate inn is due east and damn ice wraiths, Skyrim wants to killl me and fast. Bought myself some Argonian bloodwine and rested near a fire, at some lamb and cheese, but needed to move and take a carrige from Windhelm and find that Altmer priest in Falkreath. I doubt the priestess of Talos woould heal an Altmer given the resentment of Elves in Windhelm and nor did I want a blessing of Talos at his shrine, might have even backfired. Took out a couple snowy sabre cats and a frost troll on the way to the stables, didn't want to kill the cats but I had no choice.

29th of Morning Star:

Healed by Priest of Arkay, decide to head to home north of Falkreath for some rest.

-----------------

And that's it, and just keep us up to date of what there up to later. If your character dies, you can mention that they are "mortally wounded" or something like that so you don't have to break immersion as you are keeping track of the character. And use paragraphs please, its hard on the eyes to read one giant paragraph.

30th of Morning Star

Read a few books which are part of the Dance in Fire series. I went to my safe where I had stored ice wraith teeth to keep my food fresh and frozen, a Dark Elf in Riften mentioned Ice Wraith teech being a good way to preserve your food. By the Eight, it sure does keep my food deliciously fresh. I thawed out a tomato and leek by the fire, grabbed some frozen butter and mudcrab legs. Such succulent meat from such a dirty creature. The butter really made it sit in my stomach easily a I used it as a dipping sauce and glaze.

Finished the meal off with thawed out veggies, didn't cook them because I wanted the nutrients, and chucked doawn a bottle of Argonian blood wine with an apple pie for desert. Gave Kharjo some venison and mead, he seemed to prefer to eat it raw.

I remember the inn keeper at Kynesgrove mentioned a few days ago if I had heard about the great shrine of Azura to the frozen north, not that far from the college, due East she said. I'll head out in the morning and check it out. I'll have to stop by the college on the way there and pick up some Daedra hearts and black soul gems from Enthir, that sly Bosmer. I should probably pick up some gear from my quarters and see what books Urag has available. Should also probably check in with Tolfdir, to make sure everything is well, been too occupied to run the day to day operations at the college.

I've often though of writing a journal as a play. invariably I just get wrapped up in playing and fail to write what actually happens. Great Idea for a thread however, and best of luck.
