well i like to have my characters evolve,but i guess i prefer a ranger build,myself

I'll bite, since I'm having an interesting time with my recent character.

Olaf pretty much runs in and decapitates things. All of my other characters take the stealthy approach, but not Olaf. I created him to play the Stormcloak side of the Civil War. He's light on Roleplay conventions like sleeping and eating, and travel is by carriage, by foot, and fast travel, depending on the journey and my mood. Two Handed and Smithing are more Minor Skill focuses, but I'd like to build them up. Olaf is a true son of Skyrim. He collects Nord Mead, hates Imperials, and uses an Imperial sword for poetic justice. He's also started collecting books, specifically ones detailing combat and the history of Nirn and its political and historical characters and factions.

He's my seventh character, and I've noticed that my builds become more focused. My first build started as a fighter and is now more of a Spellsword, with Perks everywhere. But Olaf is focused on combat and is executing regular Bandits in one or two hits (Adept difficulty). Stronger enemies take more obviously. He uses no magic at all, only the potions he finds.
