In Oblivion, they were pretty and were white with a pretty gold design.
Now they look ugly.

Sigh... I prefer the Skyrim elven weapons over the Oblivion ones.

The Elven Armor looks better in this game than in Oblivion, so there's the tradeoff.

Especially the sword. Always wear well-armored gloves when wielding the vanilla Oblivion elven longsword.

The Battle Axe and Maul (NOT a Warhammer!) look much less goofy in Skyrim than in Oblivion to.

Personally, my taste for Elven weapons in Oblivion and Skyrim simply falls short. They don't really look that good to me. They're not as.......Mystical as I would like them to be. And by that, I mean detailed in the art of the race. And something else, why does all Elven look the same? Did the Dunmer not build armor and weapons? It seems all weaponry pertaining to Elves is a bit Woodish. Meaning the Wood Elves.

I always thought that the Skyrim weapons were very Altmer-ish, and don't care for any of them except the mace.

EDIT: In case anyone is confused, I only mean the Elven weapons of Skyrim.

nah I find the elven weaponsto look decent. sure could be better, but could be worse also.

...They are still gold. To me they look good in both games. I miss the Elven Shortsword design though.
