Anyone else feel like they beat the game?

What I mean by that, is doing the Main Quest and defeating Alduin. On my last play through I decided I wanted to do the MQ first. Just to get it out of the way. After I defeated Alduin, and all was said and done, I felt like I beat the game. I didn't feel like I had anything to strive for. Even though there is still a [censored]load of game content left, I couldn't find the motivation to do it. I guess in my mind, the point of the game is to get strong enough to defeat Alduin. Which, in retrospect is possible at lower levels. And isn't the end of the game. So, I rerolled a new character. Kind of like a World of Warcraft mentality. Even though I only played that game once. So, anyone else have this problem?

One does not simply beat Skyrim.
I still find something new on every playthrough I make, but I have long since gotten all the achievements, and have around 2300 hours of game time, so I'd say I beat or at least came close to beating Skyrim. If that word even applies to a game such as this.

2300 hours!?!? Good god! I wasn't talking about actually beating the game. More the mentality or act of feeling like I beat it. Defeating the main boss and all.

I wouldn't say I've beaten it, but I would say that I feel done with it. I've played just over 120 hours on mostly one playthrough of this game and I do realize that you would need a lot more time to find everything this game has to offer, but I just don't have the energy or interest to blindly explore for anything else. I did have some fun with this game, but the grinding, dragons, leveled enemies, long and generic dungeons, simple dialogue, dragons and lack of depth just beat at my drive to play this game.

Not really, I have 230 hours in my main game and I killed Alduin 40 hours into it. With the lack of a reward or or even recognition for such a deed I didn't feel like I had really accomplished anything.

Seriously? I just added up the hours on all of my characters and it only ended up around 1100 hours, how do you find that much time?

This happened to one of my characters. He crushed the Stormcloak Rebellion, saved the College of Winterhold, and finally killed the World Eater. That final achievement felt like his story coming to a close.
