Option to choose walking style

Post » Thu Oct 25, 2012 6:20 am

From what I've seen there's two walking styles. Male and female, with some exceptions. Female orcs, Delphine irileth, Gerdur, and elenwen walk like men. I think in character creation it should be an option whether you want a feminine or manly walk. Didn't bethesda think maybe some people want to be a female Orc and not walk like a man? Or maybe they want to be a feminine nord man who struts and sways his hips? Also I noticed there's many females with male walks but no males with female walks. Talk about sixism to us males. I'd much rather have my male characters walk femininely. Can this be an option?

There's a list of things I'd want them to do and this does not exist on that list.

It probably could be. It's just a matter of ticking or unticking a check box in the CK so I can't see how it would be a difficult option to add at character creation. Realistically I can't see it happening though, as I doubt there is much demand for it.

Not a huge fan of saints row franchise, but those games allow as much or more character customization compared to TES, including the ability to choose walking style.

Skyrim walking animation is a bit better than Oblivion which was pretty stiff, but some choices would be nice.

Glam seems to be really into those minute details that serve no real purpose other than immersion.

I suppose I can see the annoyance in having things you would normally like to choose predetermined for you, but when you start adding toggles and check boxes for things such as this, folks would feel compelled to ask for even more. Like maybe a toggle for idle animations when you've stood still for too long and the camera breaks to third person rotation. Dovahkiin could start doing silly dances, or pop his head off an roll it along the length of his/her arms.
