I stepped outside just a few moments ago to get something out of my car when I looked up to the sky (I look at the sky quite often because I find it to be beautiful) when I noticed one of my favorite optical phenomenon, a halo around the moon. It was then that I though "If modders can add shooting stars and rainbows then why not the halo?".

The effect happens when light from the sun or moon passes through ice crystals int he upper atmosphere and forms a prism, similar to a rainbow but at different angles.

I'm not sure if this is possible and I think it may be difficult with 2 moons but if it can be pulled off it would be amazing.

Unfortunately my scripting skills are almost nonexistent. But I would love to see this. I'm pretty sure Isoku made both the shooting stars and rainbow mods. Maybe you could contact him about it.

Seems like a cool effect. I wonder too about the two -moon issue though. Would the effects encroach on eachother or would the larger one simply block the other?

well i think it would be based on the angle. one or the other may get the effect and in rare cases both at the same time.
