The title sais it all pretty much. A spell or a power that allows you to float like vampire lords and dragon priests do. Would be very useful for mages and archers, as this movement mode makes you move backwards at the same speed as you move forwards.

Would this even be doable or would the difference in animations muck it all up?

It would be possible for mages but arches would look really awkward
