Just a heads up.

I just purchased a new gaming laptop that was running awesome.....no problems at all. Running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Running Skyrim, Dawnguard and Hearthfires.......perfectlly.

Well now the other shoe is falling.

I installed Windows 8 and it is AWFUL.

I even tried running in compatibility mode.

Tech support wants my laptop back in the morning.

I had created a Win 7 boot disk and seperate Image disk.

They wont work either.

Might just be me but I kinda doiubt it.

Just be REAL CAREFUL with Windows 8

I've been running Win8 RTM since release and Skyrim runs like a charm. Maybe your lappy isn't up to the task.

Like I said in the post.it was running perfectly before Win 8

Whats the systems specs of that laptop?

Also did you install the proper drivers before playing?

Got me thinking about a recent NVIDIA driver I saw that was for my card but...........................for Win 8

I have it installed and am now re-installing Steam, Skyrim and Oblivion.

I needed a sanity check.......................been a very long evening!

Will post back if that fixed it
