I was doing the part of the Foresworn conspiracy where you investigate Weylin's quarters in the Warrens. I came out to be challenged to a fight. Just as the fight began, however, in swoops an ancient dragon. (First time I have ever had a dragon attack Markarth. Didn't think they did that. Wasn't even sure where it could land except on roof tops.)

I really wasn't sure about what to do at this point. My challenger flat out ignores the dragon and insists that we continue the brawl. I, meanwhile, am worried about losing NPCs to this dragon. I really want to fight it but I am afraid if I pull out a weapon I will get a bounty. So I quickly deal with the brawl and then turn to dealing with the dragon.

What I would like to know is: what would have happened if I had pulled out a weapon to deal with the dragon? Would I have got a bounty? If the dragon hit the NPC I was brawling with would I get a bounty? I think I remember brawling with Horse-crusher when he suddenly turned hostile. I think this was because some spiders chose that moment to attack the stables.
