Most woman only act like Taarie after you marry them. Full credit to her for being honest.

Still, she is looking pretty ugly, and old. Seeing as Altmer are longer lived she is probably 400 years old. I can think of many (probably illegal) things i'd rather do to her finger than put a ring on it. Several involve thumbscrews.

I don't really like her as a marriage candidate since there's so little interaction with her outside of being a customer, although I guess there's more of a reason to marry her than some mill owner who you chopped two pieces of wood up for one afternoon.

I think her and her sister(?) are some funny NPCs, but Taarie is a bit wrinkly (Which means she's probably a 1000 years old.. considering she's an elf). I wish there were more Altmer and Bosmer marriage options than Taarie. Faralda or Niranye, for example.

The arrogance is comedy. People shouldn't take it so badly. Even the poor farmer Altmer in Rorikstead is arrogant about her crops. It's supposed to be a joke how far they take it.
