how much game time do you get out of each character you make

Post » Tue Oct 30, 2012 4:54 pm

well i'm want to compare my game time spent with each character with yours. So for fun, lets list each of our characters race, level and game time spent by looking at their latest save file, and maybe a footnote about the their play style:

1. Race: Orc, Level: 28, Time: 68.41.03. Two hand blunt fighter.

2. Race: Khajit, Level: 33, Time: 70.19.20. Duel wielding fighter specializes in all axes, blunt an sword weapons.

3. Race: Nord, Level 53, Time: 94.27.15, Marksman, Alchemist and some basic sword fighting abilities while using stealth. Also is a vampire.

4. Race: High Elf, Level: 23, Time: 29.16.51, Is a Mage in destruction and considering other schools of magic.

5. Race: Nord. Level: 50. Time: 167.36.10. Stealth, marksmen, sword fighter and is a werewolf.

6. Race: Nord. Level 40. Time: 83.46.31. Is a mastered two hand sword fighter and master in black smiting and enchanting. With some basic knowledge in marksmanship.

I had some other characters that didn't make the cut but that's the heart of my races, time spent and game-play style thus far. Please write down yours, as i may have some questions for you based on the time spent with a certain play style. Cheers.

Depends on the character, my main has several hundred hours on her. She's been restarted at least a dozen times because of bugs and design changes/rebuilds of my skills. Altogether she's probably had about 1,200 hours total across all of her incarnations.

Other characters usually range between 20-100 hours before I get board and go back to my main.

Between a few hours when for some reason I decide I don't like the character to over 500 for Vriddi, my longest lasting character (53rd level, Orc, concentrates on two-handed, heavy armour, smithing, enchanting, retired because things got too easy with her).
About 11 hours on my present character (12th level, Breton, concentrates on conjuration, enchant, heavy armour and one-handed).

altmer Mage 50 hours (was weak)
Breton conjuration/duel weild swords 40 hours (game-breaking bug/lag)
Breton conjuration/ duel weild maces 47 hours (game-breaking bug/lag)
Breton conjuration/destruction 57 Hours (current character)

Nearly the same problem for me. I've restarted my main character at least 4 times already for various reasons. My main character was actually my starting character in Skyrim, a Dunmer male assassin build named Sorin Markov. As several will probably notice from the name, I am huge fan of the MTG character, also had a specialty during my undergraduate studies in Eastern Europen history, so I loved the sound to it. These incarnations have probably put me at about 400 hours total for that one character. This character's perks are in Enchanting, Smithing, Alchemy, Illusion, Sneak, One-Handed, Light Armor, and Archery. Mind you, the only maxed out trees are Sneak and Light Armor. Due to how many times I've actually restarted this character, I rescinded myself to using the Oghma Infinium glitch to speed up the process in the most recent incarnation.

I've also had a Nord warrior that I have since "retired" because I eventually grew to dislike the appearance of the Nords. I recall logging 90 hours with this character with perks in One-Handed, Smithing, Block, Heavy Armor, and Enchanting. I enjoyed this character but, as I said, I wasn't a big fan of his "meathead" appearance as I kept going with him. I tried working with it once Dawnguard came out, but I couldn't get comfortable with it so I retired this character.

The only other character I've had was a Breton pure mage, but he didn't last long. I couldn't even tell you what his perks was in, but I he probably had 30 hours put into him before I got tired of him. I've always enjoyed playing Rogues or Stealth builds when it comes to RPGs, so I had a feeling I wouldn't keep this character for too long. Unfortunately, Destruction and Illusion are my two favorite schools of magic and I wasn't a huge fan of how weak Destruction had become so that only further pushed me into retiring this character.

I no longer have saves for these characters so I cannot look up the time played. The time figures are best-guess estimates.

1. Race: Nord, Level 43, Time: 200+. 2-Hand, Heavy Armor warrior.
2. Race: Nord, Level 61, Time: 450+. 2-Hand, Light Armor warrior.
3. Race: Dunmer, Level 64, Time: 600+. 1-Hand, Light Armor thief.
4. Race: Altmer, Level 59, Time: 350+. Pure mage.
