Hi Everyone,


I encountered an issue after upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 8.

Now after running Skyrim from either Steam or the launcher executable - the game will only run in Windowed mode i.e. bars are evident around the game.

Alt-Enter does not resolve the issues - neither does modding the SkyrimPrefs.ini file.

Skyrim did function as expected (in full screen) before the upgrade.

Can anyone offer any thoughts on how to resolve the issue i.e. run in full screen mode

Interesting fix (and a slight slap on the forehead after realising it) the graphics settings had been set to a value of 16:10 widescreen - fix was to change to 16:9 widescreen...

That's not windowed mode.

What's your monitor's native resolution?
