Since the more recent elder scrolls games have been sort of a juxtaposition between a realistic and fantasy world, I was wondering if TESO will push the boundaries with respect to gender realism. By this I mean to discern the differences between genders in the game world. Many games in a fantasy setting allow all genders to sort of be whatever they want to be; a female warchief packed in the heaviest of armors, a male inconspicuously performing the role of housecarl, and the like. I propose that adding real-life gender limitations and characteristics would open a path for increased replayability in this game, and also allow for more interesting character combinations.
Imposing these limitations on gender would allow for the developers to come up with creative ways to balance gameplay across genders. Possibly the addition of a seduction option for females, where women could seduce their way out of confrontation and gain experience with a related skill. A male specific skill could be bribery, where a male character could fork over some gold for extra information. These sorts of gender specific skills could add a lot of depth into the gameplay while at the same time making the game much more immersive. If suspension of disbelief is something zenimax is going for, this would be a great way to invoke such a feeling.
