In Skyrim, I loved the 3rd person vanity shots of my champ in his Nightingale Armor... As a thief-archer, I found it difficult at times though, to shoot from third person. I found it always was a little off, having to compensate for being "Right handed". Plus, you don't really see the rocks and whatnot that are in your way in the same way as in first person - so i would goto first person, like a typical shooter game, to snipe people. For melee, however, i found it easier to do 3rd person, being able to watch my surroundings and better judge distances. Would this be a similar problem I wonder in ESO? It'll be interesting to see how range vs. melee functions with 3rd person. If it's going to be a skill-based aiming system like in Skyrim, or more locked in like other 3rd person mmo's (WoW hunter type thing or GW2).
