Needs mod that ignores fast travelcarriage travel

Post » Tue Nov 06, 2012 6:07 am

Ive been using IMCN for quite some time now and I think its great. Ive recently had to uninstall it though because it becomes tedious fast travelling or using a carriage for a long distance (say from one end of the map to the other) to get to a place only to find that ive got to eat half the food in my inventory and sleep straight away. I know this is realistic but it becomes tedious if Im darting all over the map getting bits and bobs done at any point.

I was wondering if there were any needs mods that automatically feed you whilst boat/carriage/fast travelling.

Cheers in advance

Ive had previous playthroughs where I dont fast travel, but I honestly dont get enough time these days to not do it. But even if I didnt fast travel, using carriages would still have the same effect on your character.

Oh and I installed that mod for about an hour after I uninstalled IMCN. I really liked the ideas used but my character got stuck in a 'drunk' animation and nothing I tried fixed it so I removed it again.

That looks good! Might try it. At the moment though, I'm using kuertee's eat and sleep, which automatically eats, drinks, and fills the waterskin when near water. So it's a good alternative for a less obtrusive needs mod. (that said, it wouldn't stop you needing to eat after fast travelling, it'd just do it for you. Can get annoying with needing to sleep all the time after travelling.)

Hey guys, my mod actual detects any large auto progress of time. If time is progressed by 12 hours or more, then it is assumed that you've eaten/slept the required amounts through that time - your required food/sleep are pushed back to the next logical time (e.g. dinner or breakfast depending on the time you exit out of that time progression.)

Very handy when quests, long travels, or staying in jail put forward time.

Hmmm...also I'm starting to see more less intrusive and macro-level mods coming out. Very nice. I've been harping on against mods that require micro-level management (i.e. that they don't fit the game) since I can't remember when.
