What if we don't want to be dragonborn? What will the new ex

Will it force us to do the main quest? And if so, why???? Some people just enjoy playing normal characters who aren't involved with the dragonborn theme.

Good question. I loathe the MQ and don't currently have a save with it done.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to be Dragonborn for this expansion... Mayby not.. mayby there's something lie Tribunal but the plot would become crap then..

Well I hope we will also see an not too short side quest about the Snow elf prince.

And maybe also a rebuild the Morag Tong quest line or some side quests for the Camonna Tong.

Maybe we can just ignore the MQ in the DLC and explore Solstheim and do side quests. That's what I did with most of my characters the last time I was there. I've only played the Bloodmoon main quest twice (1 werewolf, 1 non-werewolf).

You don't buy the DLC.It's as simple as that.

you buy skyrim to technically... not play it. The Main quest is the total point of Skyrim. Honestly, you would have to be an idiot to not play the main quest. The main quest is fine, the dragons are fine. Who cares if they kill a couple of npcs. The whole point of the game is dragons. Main quest is the main point. You have hearthfire and dawnguard to show. Totally clueless.

the main quest is literally the least important part of a TES game, even beth themselves puts it on the back burner for what TES is actually about, the world. you're the one who seems totally clueless. i'v played through it once and never did so again, it has no reward i would like (anything for an asassin) and rarely fits any character i make. saying it is the main point of skyrim is like saying you play through legend of zelda orcarina of time only to play a few songs on the orcarina, you are the one missing the point.

your telling me that the main quest is the least important of skyrim? The trailer for Skyrim always shows the main quest of skyrim. The important things. There are some players who like to play Skyrim stupidly. They buy a game only to waste about 40% of the game. My opinion, they need to learn how to play properly. Up to them I suppose lol.

+1, although the main quest does set the theme...and DLCs which build on this theme is only natural and expected. People looking for DLC that's completely irrelevant to the dragonborn theme only needs DG and HF.

The point of Skyrim is to be who you want to be, play as you want to play. There are those of us that do not wish to play as the Dragonborn, most of my characters have been like this, and to be railroaded into being required to be Dragonborn in order to even play this dlc goes against everything TES is about.

I'll believe this requirement to be Dragonborn when I see it. I'll not be buying into rumors and hearsay.
