Apparently there is a large aurora that shines down upon him up high. My first thought was that he is a former Greybeard because of the appearance and his knowledge of the Dragonborn. If you look at 0:18 you could see two other characters meditating with him. On the other hand the house behind him looks a lot like Thirsk so I suppose he could also be an important Skaal. What do you guys think?

Yeah he definitely looks like a Skaal. I also like his coat too. It looks warm for those cold nights.

Does anyone know who is the voice actor for this narrator?

I'm pretty sure old, wise people auto default to Max Von Sydow, or Morgan Freeman.

I really hope that we can somehow get that coat, preferably by other means than killing the old man.

If you think about too, considering that Skyrim is a pretty cold place compared to the rest of Tamriel, you would think there would be more clothing and armor styles, like the one the Skaal is wearing, that would suite that environment type.

I think he's the Skaal chieftain. His knowledge of the first dragonborn comes from his people's fear of the Greedy man, my theory of who the new threat is.
