Nord race yet I'm called an Imperial

Post » Fri Nov 09, 2012 6:46 am

I've played through the whole story as well as Dawnguard as a Nord and all that but when I go to join the Stormcloacks they refer to me as an Imperial. I even have the skills Battle Cry and the effect Frost Resist. I checked "showracemenu" and it shows me as a Nord. Why do they refer to me as an Imperial.
I've become a vampire but turned back into a human. I have not turned into a werewolf yet.

Are you sure you didn't start an imperial quest line? Regardless of race you can join stormcloaks...

I'm 100% sure that I didn't start any of the war related quests. In my quest log before I went to the Stormcloacks it said. Join Imperial Legion and Join Stormcloack Rebellion. Is this a bug because I edit my character a lot in "showracemenu" but I never change the race, it's always a Nord.

I've been a breton and been called a nord.
Just sloppy work.

Guards often call me kinsman, and then sometimes Imperial, even though I am Imperial. Race checks are a bit dodgy.

RFLOL what I did was the following for this bug: If I played as a Nord, I would make him look Imperial. So then I could say: Some can tell I'm a Nord and some cant.
When I play as an Imperial, I make my character look like a Nord: So again Some can tell I'm a Imperial and some cant.
LOL

Races were done badly in the game anyway. When playing Dunmer half the time I'm just called elf, or brother elf (by a Bosmer), or just ignored when it makes the most sense to comment on (Azura's Shrine). Was even called Nord by alchemist in Whiterun.

Really hope they diversify the races better in any future titles but that may be asking to much from Bethesda, they can make a great looking game but it's just not deep unless your crafting the whole story yourself.

Probably the same reason Farkas has called my male Nord sister before, sloppy work by Beth.

You ha but I had no idea you even quoted me till I read that (degreened). That's one of the big reasons I stick with the color change it's easy to spot who's talking to me and it's my favorite color so it's a win win.
