Big Head, Skinny Body

So, in looking at the art design for TESO (loving the environments I'm seeing), I noticed a fatal... well, maybe not fatal for some, but fatal for me, flaw in the proportions of the character models. Now, I know that in Skyrim (especially noticeable with orcs, oddly enough), certain characters had bigger heads than I believe their shoulders/torso could account for, but... now, I'm flipping out. Seeing the nords dressed in typical "Dragonborn"-esque armor, and seeing how ridiculously skinny they are compared to the size of their heads, I'm actually hugely turned off. Not even accounting for the running, attacking, and blocking animations across all character models, I fail to see why, when the game is toting a large amount of character customization, we are not immediately exposed to where exactly this customization applies to and are given only reoccuring big-headed models.

Maybe it's just me, but if the game doesn't get a model-graphics overhaul, I may not purchase it. This may seem like something silly to complain about, but people across many games don't play certain races when they have options available to them because the other races look ridiculous to them -- and in the Elder Scrolls world, the races are all permanently humanoid, which means, unfortunately, we will be an army of bobbleheads.

it's a valid complaint. and one i've seen quite a few times today. the models dont bother me as much as some other people, but i do hope they get better. there is time for the developers to change them. im more worried about the combat animations. thankfully there's time to change those too.

Do remember this is from the alpha build. There's plenty of time for stuff to change.

I think that was the helmet. It did look silly, though I only noticed it on a couple of the models
