The Dragoon Brotherhood is well established guild that has sampled nearly every major MMO on the market for well over six years. Above all things we value friendship and our community and our focus both in the games we play currently and in ESO, will be to build and maintain our close knit guild. Unlike most guilds we are formed around the "people" that make up the Dragoons. If you join, you will be a part of a community that doesn't just ragequit because something didn't go their way, they are not just people who are only interested in earning their "1337 gear", they are people who will support, grow, and of course have a good laugh with you at every turn.
One the key staples of our community is that we are fiercely competitive within PvP. Throughout the multiple games we have played, we have always aimed to be the best PvP'ers that we can be. This is not done through elitist means, instead we aim to help one another. If you find yourself new to PvP in general, then we can help you grow, and become great. If you are experienced PvP'er and want a community that can challenge you, we can also offer this, as we are constantly evolving and growing. However we are a FRIENDSHIP guild FIRST, not a PvP guild first. If you are just interested in "Organized 1337 PvP guild", we are NOT for you.
As well as this we aim to create an open atmosphere for all types of gamers. We may focus alot on PvP, but we have all types of members from PvE'ers, crafters, even roleplayers lurking within our halls. Whatever you fancy we have someone who can be there for you. If you're not a PvP'er but like our philosophy, then you will fit here. Above all things we are fans of the MMO genre as a whole, and not just a singular part of it.
Finally we are not a huge guild, we are well organized, and definately not inactive, but we are not big. Just because we value people for who they are doesn't mean we accept everyone we meet. We take a great deal of time in finding the right people for us, as well as making sure we are the right guild for you. We rarely have drama, rarely have full members leaving, and have members who stay for many years, we attribute this to our strong process, and patience in finding the right people for us.
As a whole, we will be aiming to take these principles to Elder Scrolls, and maintaining them as we have done for years:-
- Unlike the majority of modern guilds, we value you for your personality, and not your ability or gear.
- We believe in training together, gaining experience as one, not selecting based on elitist presumptions.
- Be part of a forums with active members posting well over 30,000 messages.
- The atmosphere in the Dragoons is laid back and easy going. We consider ourselves a group of friends who enjoy playing games together.
- Although we don't believe in defining by age, our members are "big boys and girls" that wont be insulted at every little sigh.
- We are unlike any guild you have been a part of, we are not just a guild, we are family. We will not be for everyone.
- We have retained members for many years, from all over the world. Everyone is unique and important to us!
Our Aim
Within our community we have three primary aims that we aim to achieve:-
1) We aim to create a friendship orientated community where members value each other like a family.
The Dragoons was founded on the friendship of two people and since then it has become a cornerstone, a root of everything we are and have become. We aim to make sure every member is valued and welcomed and that we all fight for each other. We want this in a non-stressful way, we would like to encourage a relaxed atmosphere where gamers come together on ventrilo and laugh through their gaming. Our primary goal above all things is the growth of our friendship, and the working to make the Dragoons as successful as can be.
2) We aim to become the top PvP force.
One of the strongest attributes of the Dragoons is our will to PvP. For many years we have not only been good at PvP, we have defined it. Our aim is get every member PvP'ing with us, without the stress of elitism. We aim to help everyone grow and become a strong unit for the Dragoons. Ultimately we want us to be strong for you, and you to be strong for us. From regular training nights, to real combat experience we will find ways to train our Dragoons and build them into strong powerful warriors on the battlefield. Our aim is to walk onto the battlefield and strike fear in our opponents hearts. We want them to say "Oh ****, the Dragoons are here".
3) We aim to create an open gaming environment for all playstyles.
Although we are PvP focused, we aim to make sure that all content is covered and that members are free to explore all avenues of the gaming world. If you want to do Operations with us, we will provide ways to do that. If you want to roleplay, go ahead! New patch coming out and you want to try the content, we do too! Just because we are PvP focused does not mean that we will not dip our toes in everything the game has to offer. On the contrary we are all lovers of MMOs in general, and that includes all of it's content. Killing must be balanced after all!
