When you can WALK up behind an elder dragon and (non power attack) smack him in the calf with your dagger and instantly kill him without him knowing you're there, the game isnt fun anymore. I tried switching to bow but it just lost its flavor overall and I quit.
Now me and my friend are getting hyped up for Dragonborn DLC and want to start over and finish the game this time.
One friend playing 100% bow w/ pickpocket/steal/lockpick and other shenanigans to get passed obstacles
Other friend is either playing sword and board or standard two hand bruiser type.
I want to do something different that any of the three mentioned above, but at the same time fun, and I can't think of much.
I want to be able to enjoy the full extent of the game. I don't plan to rush, so I have plenty of time. I want to experience the plants and flowers, I want to crawl through every dungeon, be a nice guy helping everyone with their quests and tasks, not just poking everyone with my dagger for hours on end.
If anyone has any kind of fun builds that they can suggest, or even fun playstyles. I recently beat dishonored and that was probably the most fun game I have ever played for "Do this mission in whichever way is the most fun for you". I think an illusion mage might cater to that type of playsyle (coupled with destruction) but without mods I've heard magic is extremely underpowered, and once Dragonborn comes out I'll have to ditch any mods to play it (at least until they're ported to dragonborn).
I'm really back and forth on this right now and would greatly appreciate feedback or suggestions!
