Anyone else not enjoy some of Skyrim's soundtracks?

Let me start off by saying that Skyrim had great music, and Jeremy Soule is one of my favorite musicians, but to me the Skyrim soundtrack is hit or miss.

Maybe I just don't like the nordic and icy theme as much as I thought, because that's the feeling that the music gives off. PErhaps it's not just my cup of tea.

Also, I can handle the battle music in any TES game except this one. I hate the battle music in Skyrim.

Like I said, this is definitely preference because Soule captured the "sound" of Skyrim perfectly.

Nope, not here. I love every second of Skyrim's soundtrack and reckon it's perfect.

The only flaw I've found is that there isn't enough of it! I need more.

That's the issue. I know it's perfect but I still don't like it as much as the other games. Like I said before, It might just be the theme of the game.

The only thing I don't like about the music in general is the volume. Exploration soundtracks are almost the same volume as blazing boss fight music, this does not make sense.

I agree in that. Dovahhkiin theme is perfect for the intro but not for a dragon fight.
Watch the sky is just EPIC in a dragon fight.

I love every second of the soundtrack. Jeremy Soule was brilliant as always. Sometimes I do turn off the music just to explore without music for a different experience, but it is never because I don't love the music, and it always comes back on.

I shut the music off once when I thought it would be more immersive just to hear the sounds of nature as I explored. I found I preferred this and I never turned the music back on, til recently, when I watched a video of the game where the music was on and I realised I quite liked it. Now it's on again and I'm enjoying it. Sometimes when I level up, I turn the speakers up really loud for the level-up music and sit there and enjoy the swelling, epic validation of my new level.

The only tracks that really grab my attention are the ones from Morrowind and Oblivion. But I didn't warm up to Oblivion's music until years later.
