Have you tried out http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/596969657722420797/C61A04B32DC6CF7E7587390FB7133D66E5D97CF9/637x358.resizedimage armor located on steam workshop? - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=59260049

The light version is amazing but it requires you join the companions and beat the quest. I wish I could craft it without joining, I wonder if there is a console command to get it but can't figure it out.

That looks awesome! Just wish I didn't have to join the companions. I get my Nord armor from that ghost in the ruin at the morthal swamps.
The companion cat-dog thing just seems a bit weird to me.

That is, for my main character at least
all of my characters are Khajiit

No, in fact my main character hates the Dark Brotherhood, too evil for my beautiful saint-like kitty :D

I almost want to smack the guy who created the mod, as much as I want the armor, my assassin would never join the companions because he has something called "self-respect".

My Khajiit is a Daedra worhsipper but he finds the idea of killing unarmed civilians to be cowardly so I ended them.

I don't know if your on console, but there are mods and console commands to fix that.

Now that's some good armor right there. Though personally, I go sword and shield.

For some reason I don't like those armors, there all too bulky for my taste. I have yet to find a mod or in game armor that looks better than my current outfit:
Guildmaster armor, scaled boots, gold and ruby circlet, and Daedric gauntlets for unarmed encounters, and my second set of my armor I keep on my person is a full set of Daedric armor.

Scaled armor is awesome in looks imo but too bulky, I have yet to find a mod to make it more sleaker.

I found one mod that makes khajiit jump higher... Problem is, it makes all the other races jump higher too.
Have you found any good ones?
Or maybe I should try to create one myself.

The reason why I go with the bulky armor is mainly for RP reasons. Skyrim is a very cold place. Around 45-75 degrees just about everywhere you go. Khajiit are creatures of the desert and their fur is pretty thin. Soo, I try to keep my khajiit nice and warm with the heavy armors. Though regular fur is a pretty sleek light armor I sometimes employ.

A fun Khajiit character I had used heavy armor (steel), a bow, and speechcraft. Worked up sneak a tiny bit in the early stages, but basically I would shoot 'em from a distance, then switch to claws. Fists of steel fit great.

He was sort of a travelling sellsword. Never did any major questlines, just bounties and exploration. Died around lvl 14 to some mage in a fort.

Only cat whose death I ever felt bad about. :P

TG armor, a bow with my poisoned arrows and my claws when I'm close up.

NEVER wear boots or shoes, no self respecting cat ever would.
