The major Thief and the Assassin guild in Tamriel.

Post » Mon Nov 12, 2012 7:53 am

As topic, why is the major thief & the darkbrotherhood assassin npc guild ignored at launch in 2013? :ermm:
Also my thoughts concerning the open world PvP and playing a rogue or an assassin. In truth it's more relastic and fun if you have the option to attack anyone and anywhere and not just Cyrodiil our capital in TESO similar to a TES game.
My point is that's our life when you venture outside your house - it's always a risk to get jumped by an angry neighbour or something similar, lol.
It's not legal, but it's possible and why not in an MMO?
I remember Ultima Online when it was 1 world, and you could get jumped when you was mining in UO and that was part of the game, and so is our life.
I hope that such a system should be serious considered in TESO.
One thing is an enemy faction, but it should be possible to rpg. a villain with a bounty system similar to a tes game & Skyrim.

Because 40% of MMO players are an actual [censored]s, and another 40% crybabies who would left the game.

Your question is a little trollish, because its clear why they just wont allow to "attack everyone, everywhere".

"Bounty Hunters". LOL. Can you imagine how many of players would play something like that? TOONS, literaly, hundrets and thousands of them. And it would not make any sense. its same with Vampires and Werewolves. I bet my underwear that 90% of players will be Vampire or a Werewolf, and it will look damn stupid.

Dark Brotherhood will be included in some of post-launch patches. They are just saving tasty content for laters.

as some point during development they have to say "OK this is what were going to finish for launch." mmo's never end, they are constantly being updated and having content introduced to them. they've told us they will be added later.

Well, when I talk about a bounty system - it's similar as it was in Ultima Online though, and not concerning the Dawnguard dlc and vampire/bounty hunters in Skyrim.
My point is there are milions of people who play league of legends, because it's a challenge, fun PvP arena game and you've cry babies there as well, but they still come back
to play, because it's a challenge, and that's a keyword in my opinion. Todays MMO's major issue it's too easy and dull in my opinion.
However, it should be strict laws concerning the topic though and penalties similar to Skyrim like prison if you get caught.
Yes I know EvE online implemented this with success, so it should work in ESO as well, I'm also an experienced EvE player, as well as Shadowbane, Darkfall sandbox etc.

The thing is League of Legends pvp is fair, and what you are asking is all but fair. I don't want to get ganged by 10 guys on my way to the store - let pvp be fair for both sides.

You can get jumped by 5 people in a bush in league when you're in the jungle or top lane - so it depends how you define the word fair in PvP, but one thing is certain is that when they implement the thieves guild -
a player could be pick pocketed is that unfair too? Of course it's, but that's why ESO need laws in their lands. But it doesn't mean it shouldn't be an option, or removed entirely from the game,
because of a few crybabies.

I think theives going around would be cool but don't make it that they can pickpocket armour or weapons if they are equiped.
