I just can't keep a stealthy character going for long. I love my warriors - to each their own.

But I want to do the TG question. I cannot afford to sink perks into sneak, though.

I have alchemy as a skill, and I was thinking that maybe I could use that to help. Would that work?

What about if I just kill everyone? What would I miss out on? Instead of sneaking I roll through those places like a real Dragonborn and tear [censored] up.

Alchemy can help with things like Invisibility, so that should work. Most Thieves Guild quests allow you to just bash your way through them, exceptions being the side-quests, where you have to be stealthy. You don't need to do those, though.

It's entirely possible to go through the whole Thieves Guild questline without putting one perk into Stealth. It's actually entirely possible to go through the main TG questline without much sneaking at all, although, as Navelpluis points out, you do need some thief-type skills to do the sidequests. Of course, the sidequests are totally optional.
