This has bugged me for some time, and despite extensive searching of the area surrounding the CoW, I've been unable to find the answer to this little puzzle.

At times, particularly in the evenings (or so it seems), you have various CoW members coming up the path to the sea next to the ramp/bridge to the College. I know they ain't coming from the sea-side cave/entrance to the Midden, so my question is: where are they going to/coming from? Somehow, I don't think it's Ysgramor's Tomb, and there doesn't seem to be much else in the area other than an old ruin and some Wolves on the sea-shore.

Any ideas or clues?

Hmm I never thought about that. Like how they all come to the courtyard in a single file from the same direction.
