I am wondering if there are any mods that make being a mage easier, much easier? A mod where spells don't drain your magicka, etc. I want to be a mage but have found it most difficult, so I am hoping there is a mod?

Try Skyrim Improved Magic System. It doesn't make spells too overpowered, but as you level up spells become stronger.

Try Skyrim Improved Magic System. It doesn't make spells too overpowered, but as you level up (and choose appropriate perks) spells become stronger. You also have a wider choice of spells, and mage robes increase the power of spells rather than reduce cost.
