What level of anisotropic filtering do you use?

I just wanted some feedback and other peoples opinions are on whats best for Skyrim. Personally I use 4 because I dont notice that much of a difference beyond that and 8 drops my fps by about 5 frames. What do you think is best?

About 6 years ago, with Hitman: Blood Money, I tried a bunch of different anisotropic filtering settings and compared them, and came to the conclusion that 8 suits me the best. This because I couldn't see the difference between 8 and 16, but I could see the difference between 4 and 8. I've been using 8 ever since in all the games, including Skyrim.

If your old like me, then 4X is good enough. I don't have the young eyes of Freddo. I do see the difference with 8X, it is just not enough to justify the performance hit. Or, making the video card fans scream.

High @ 1680x1050
4x sample AA
4x sample anisproptic
Blur on low
Everthing else slammed over to the right specularity fade 3/4 to the right
Reflect sky checked
Object fade detail unchecked
No FXAA

I get solid 49 to 60 FPS pure vanilla game.
