So im trying to do the side mission for slackjaw to get him that document but everytime I go into the dr's office I get stuck in an infinite loading screen when I try to leave. It happens every single time. Is anybody else having this problem?

I'm having this exact same issue with the same mission and location, but on the Xbox360. Only thing I can think of is to reload an old save and hoping not to run into it again. You're not the only one though having this problem, and it looks like it can happen in several different places in the game as well.

We're looking into this. If possible, it would be helpful to know the following:

1. My Chaos level was low.
2. I had knocked out 2 guards with sleep darts a couple minutes before I tried to leave.
3. One of the Guards had detected me when I sleep darted the other guard.
4. I had Blink Level 1, Dark Vision Level 1, and Possession Level 1. When I reloaded my save and tried to leave again, I had Agility Level 1.
5. Unknown
6. At Least 5 hours.

I'm having this exact same problem on my PS3. I tried to re-install the game twice but to no avail.

1. my chaos level is low
2/3. I didn't kill or alert any NPCs just prior to entering/exiting the dr's office.
4. Blink level 2, Agility level 1, Dark Vision level 1, Possession level 1
5. I had 10/10 crossbow bolts, 8/10 sleep darts, full ammo for bullets, full trip-mines, full health and mana potions
6. I had been playing maybe 2 hours when it first occurred, but whenever I restart the game and try it again the result is the same.

For me, it happened after leaving the dr's office.

1. Chaos level is low
2. I knocked them all out inside the office but knocked nobody out outside before entering a different area (Leading up to the loading issue)
3. Before entering a different area, they didn't notice me. After loading it again, they did notice me.
4. Blink level 1, Dark Vision level 2, Devouring Swarm level 1
5. 10/10 bullets, 20 crossbow bolts, 9 sleep darts, 2 incendiary bolts, 2 spring razors and a grenade that isn't numbered or useable for some reason. Mask and crossbow bolt upgrades.
6. About 3 hours

I went back to an earlier save and it appears to have worked.

What I did differently:
I rushed in, tranqued everybody and rushed out, without picking anything up except what the guards had on them and the sound thing required for Slackjaw's mission.

I'm actually on the same mission, but my problem is a little further ahead. After finding Slackjaw's buddy, If I try to enter the Distillery to turn in the quest the loading screen just keeps on loading. That happened a few times so then I tried to just go straight to the Golden Cat to do the other quest, but alas, infinite loading screen again while trying to go to the bathhouse. When I quit the game it always restarts my PS3, which is concerning.

I hope that this can be fixed...I really love the game so far! but I'm kinda stuck if I can't load any screens : )

We're looking into it. If you have info to share similar to NinjaRoss, that would be appreciated.

In the meantime, you might also want to look into starting the mission over and seeing if you can avoid the issue.

Yea I just restarted the level and avoided doing Slackjaw's side mission and was able to complete the story without running into the problem at any other times. It only happens at the dr's office during the House of Pleasure mission. I might try rushing through it like NinjaRoss to see if it works the same way for me. Otherwise the game is awesome!

So I have now completed the game and am on my second playthrough & am pleased to say I didnt have this issue this time.
I cant remember my stats from my first playthrough when this issue occured but here are my stats from my resent playthough without the issue occuring.
1. High kaos
2. The only people I kill before entering galvonis office are the 3 assassins.
3. I was noticed by a couple of weepers before exiting the distillery.
4. Dark vision, blink & shadow kill all lvl 2
5. I was completely stocked on everything exept mana potions.
6. 3-4 hour of play.

What was surprising to me about this second playthrough is that it was very similar to my first so I have no idea what could be causing this issue.
Also when I went through galvonis office I was notice by all npcs & killed them all looted the bodies took only the audio log and the rune. As soon as I grabed the rune I sprinted out of there and it let me out.
Hope this helps this is an amazing game my only complaint is that its too short I already want more lol

Having the same issue. After finding the body of Slackjaw's guy my game freezes on the load screen after trying to leave Dr. Galvonis office. I deleted all my autosaves and started the pleaure house mission over from the begining and still no luck. Freezes at the same spot when I try to leave the office.

Same problem here exiting from Galvani building doing the a no kill run of the game.
It keeps loading and loading. (I have tried exiting using all the 3 different doors but the issue remains)
I paid full price for the game but I have stop playing because I can not move forward..... I hope it gets fixed ASAP and something is done to make it up for the trouble....

Nobody saw me.

Also: I've tried restarting the mission from scratch, as well as disabling autosave from journal - neither helped.

I tried reloading the mission twice and lots of combinations of entering and exiting via different doors, but to no avail, it still gets stuck on the loading screen during the exit from the Office.

I did sleep dart all the people inside.

I'm having the same issue. It's incredibly frustrating.

I've tried resetting the entire level to the point where Samuel is taking me in the boat. Then it happens all over again. I try entering and exiting all different ways to no avail.

Please patch this.

When you patch this, please announce it from the rooftops via Twitter, Facebook, whatever means you have. I was really enyoing the game, but this is INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING, and has happened all too often with this company's software.

So is this going to be fixed? It's pretty frustrating to have no update on if this is even being worked on or not. Love this game but this is beyond the point of ridiculous that so many people are having issues and nothing is being done.

One question.
I have finished the House of pain mission skipping the SlackJaw side mission and killed the 2 brothers. They will be the only 2 people I will kill.
Now I am still doing the rest of game without killing anybody. Will I get the same ending-achievement?
What happens if I complete the game in this way and then go back to the 3rd mission and re do it without killing anybody? what will change?

so far no success .. I simply had do skip this Sidemission

~ I believe it's low.. I haven't killed a single enemy in the game so far, and aside from poisoning the elixer supply in the previous mission provided by granny rags... I haven't been too devious.

~Nope... I've only used sleep darts in this mission to take care of the assassins that spawn on route to the doctors office. All the guards in the office were choked.

~ I was noticed a few times while inside the office... But the last guard I incapacitated didn't get a chance to. I also spent a few minutes prior to leaving the building collecting items that were scattered around.

~ The issue was experienced while inside the doctors office. My powers are blink lv2, dark vision lv2, and stop time lv1. I have four bone charms active.

~I'm not sure... I believe 6-7 sleep darts, 1-3 mana pots, and full everything else

~ I'm not sure... I'd estimate roughly 7-10 hours (restarted alot of times when I was witnessed as I'm playing the game non lethally).

Also... I restarted the mission and attempted running directly from mission start, into the docs office... then attempted leaving immediately after, and the issue still persisted ( I didn't go see slackjaw, went immediately to the docs office).

You should be playing Assassins creed 3 regardless. One of the finest games of this generation.
