Another goddamned problem as I try to get the Clean Hands achievement.

In the flooded district, when I get into the sewers, there's supposed to be a [censored] lackey who points me to Slackjaw.

BUT HE ISN'T THERE AND THE GODDAMNED GATE IS UNLOCKED!!!!!

Okay, that probably sounds WONDERFUL because I don't have to face Granny Rags but the [censored] problem here is that if I can't go seek out Slackjaw then HE DIES and I get Hostiles Killed: 1.

I have gone through this entire level twice, neither time did I even subdue an enemy. No sleep darts. No choke outs. Not on assassins, not on weepers, not on tall boys. No accidents. Undetected. AND STILL I GET A [censored] HOSTILE KILLED because the option to go get the Sewer Key from Slackjaw IS NOT A [censored] OPTION!!!!

This, on top of the fact that I also get this Hostiles Killed: 1 even when I escape Coldridge without a single subdue, without even [censored] killing rats.

What. The. [censored]. See that censored word right there before this question? Yeah, it's in CAPS.

Slackjaw and Granny Rags will not be there and available to interact with if you did not complete Granny Rags side quest AND Slackjaw's side quest.

If you just did part of their side quests, then they won't be there and the gate will be unlocked.

As for the 1 kill issue, it couldn't be him and Granny as they aren't even loaded into the level. The mission spans a large area from entering the flooded district to finding the way back to the Pub through the sewers. One kill must be occurring elsewhere. Or at least I imagine it is.

I am having the same issue Granite. One kill at the end of mission 7. Granny is not there and the gate is unlocked. I DID NOT KILL ANYONE. I feel like I cant continue with my game.

To not meet Slackjaw and Granny are actually preferable, it makes the level easier to sneak thru without killing anyone.
No, that hostile kill belongs to someone else. Be sure it's not rats eating someone you made unconscious or something like that.
