You can try putting: Novid in the launcher options for Dishonored in Steam.
Dishonored in the library right click to bring up the menu and click properties
General tab and click set launch options.....pop Novid in there and give that a try.

And you thought the best course of action was to publicize that on Bethesda forums?

:ermm:

You probably just named your problem. Using the cracked version means you have the first unpatched version. It will probably have broken game-saves. It definitely won't be patched because the bypassed Steam copy-protection will not allow it to connect to the internet (and there is a patch in the works).

Go buy it legally and you might stand a chance of getting a game that works, not to mention offering your support to the developers who bothered to give us a fantastic single-player game.
